Mission: To promote the spiritual well being of both men and women, of all nationalities and cultures, devoted to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Membership: All male and female members of the parish who are at least 18 years of age.
Activities: Activities vary as the membership changes executive positions. But, one thing that never changes is the December 12th celebration of the first appearance of Our Lady of Guadalupe to Juan Diego. On this day our parish has an all out celebration with mañanitas, mass, music, food.
On the weekend of our annual Jamaica in October of each year the Guadalupana Society has a food booth to raise funds for our parish.
The Guadalupana Society also tries to coordinate special trips to different shrines or holy grounds. The group then has fund raisers to help pay for the transportation and lodging of the members that want to go on these trips.
Meetings: Meetings are held once a month. The President of the society decides what day of each month the meetings will be held and then the information is put in the church bulletin. The current President, Mireya Longinos, has chosen the 1st Thursday of the month. The meetings start at 6:00 pm.
Pray the Rosary: Every weekend before each Mass a parishioner or one of the members will lead in praying the Rosary.
Anyone is welcome to attend a meeting to observe what our society is about.
